If you haven’t waltzed through social media pages yet this morn, you have yet to see the brilliant faces of our Funky Giraffe Giveaway winners.
Fate chose Jemma, known across the inter-waves as @anxious_mummy, who is as kind as she is photogenic. Her equally adorable family reside in Edinburgh, where all things thrive ’round Aria Jeanetta, Jemma’s sweet little babe. I’m so giddy that I randomly clicked on her profile for this Funky Giraffe Giveaway because she too is a relatively new blogger (and a working mum). Reading her words is like sharing a car ride with a bosom friend–the conversation is rich, relevant, and honest. She avoids sugar-coating, i.e. wasting one’s time–something I struggle with at intervals. Rather, she delves straight into the subject matter and couples this with resources that fellow families and females may find useful.
I think I’ve found a Scottish kindred spirit. You can read a most recent post here: anxiousmummy.com. The ten Funky Giraffe Bibs will hopefully lighten her day-to-day as her wee one grows, grows, grows into a smart and strong woman utilizing all of her heart bits (like her mum).
Having never paired with a company to run a giveaway, the last forty-eight hours have been a crazy curve of learning laced with excitement. My intentions are to jot down just how to go about a giveaway such as this. For now, a kernel of advice I will share is to research brands to ensure that they mesh with your moral code, your blog ideals. What inspires them? How did they grow into what they produce today? I am grateful that such a creative and ethically sound brand like Funky Giraffe Bibs reached out to me and my wee blog.
I’ve a few Funky Giraffe Bibs due in the mail, and will promptly show off my monster bear, clad in skulls and stripey bibs, upon arrival. Until then, give Funky Giraffe a look at:
(Don’t fret–Funky Giraffe delivers to the US as well!)
