Last eve, one of my best pals spliced up her time to share a margarita (or two) with me, and thus Vintage Lace was on the scene.
And yes, we share our tequila, because we are fiercely busy mommas that forget we are adults who are even allowed to sip the occasional mixed beverage. Ah, such a delight she is, and I am so lucky to have her in my week-to-week. I wish I could say day-to-day, but life occurs and before we blink, it’s been another week since we texted back/forth regarding her running sessions vis a vis my writing sprints.
Further ado-ing, here’s what Lace Vintage wore on a most blustery eve:
As a “thank-you” for scrolling this far, I’ll show you how to shop this hodgey-podgey look:
Sunnies: Urban Outfitters take on cat’s eyes; inexpensive and thick plastic = ideal for brutally bouncing babes in tow.
Flannel Dress: Jessica Simpson thrift steal–Popsugar loves it, too. (I paid $3 at local thrift store. Sorry, Jessica, but I just can’t spend full price for your material friendship.) Sold out at Macy’s, but here’s a similar find!
Boots: Grey Frye Boots (Circa 2009, i.e. why I splurge on boots made for walking.)
Leggings: Most definitely my maternity leggings I can’t seem to part with; the for Target line, Liz Lange Maternity. (I am/was all about the comfy while pregged up, but I guess you could go with a decent reviewed, higher price point Spanx version for Target.)
Money-Green Ring: Full Moon Mothering (who is ah-mazing to work with, a review to follow!).
Necklace: Find a similar, better designed choker on this sassy gal’s shoppe.
I should have rocked a belt, but didn’t want to be hindered in case I felt the urge to ‘rita boogy. Do you often belt your dresses? I love me a good belted ensemble. Show me, puh-lease!
