It’s always sunny in Vintage Lace sweaters!
Today, Vintage Lace was inspired by a post on the whurl app by a lovely person hunting down over-sized, not-so-typical male, vintage sweaters. Ahoy! Such a sweater awaiting me in my wardrober. As we meet/greet Spring, I figured I could sport it w/out my sleeping bag coat. Yay!
Aye, someday I’ll grow up and stop laughing through my photo shoots; so don’t mind my mouth in photo form. The sweater’s of wool blend, and male fit. Here is a similar one on an adorable Etsy shop: Vice Versa Vintage. Like many of my vintage tops, I tucked that bad boy into my
undies (Am I the only one that does this to keep blouses from riding up?) high-waisted dark denim. Tucking in such a thick sweater plumped up my waist, but I pay no mind. I’m too lazy, too practical to pay attention to precise waist-size. And neither should you. We women are all beautiful, and men/other women are so damn lucky to witness it. There’s nothing better than seeing a woman at home with herself, no matter where she struts.
Speaking of lazy-practical, my kitty-kat steve madden heels are my bestie in this muddy, windblown terrain. Chasing my tot in pumps = not in my forecast.
My accessories bling up a rather solid bunch. The accordion belt adjusts with ease to fit over sweater messes or thin summery sheaths, and is an easy go-to in any busy momma’s closet. It jazzes up my mood fo sho. Same-same with the tiny gold beaded clutch I’m utilizing. My apologies for not capturing it well above. Here is a close-up:
I’m not certain if I can list this one on Etsy, just yet–it’s just so darling! I can probably be swayed if a good home presents itself. 🙂
How do you dress best for windswept weather?
